Europe have announced ‘The Final Countdown’ 40th Anniversary Tour, where they will play the classic album in full.
The Swedish rockers will be celebrating the four-decade milestone of their third studio album ‘The Final Countdown’ and its blockbuster title track, kicking off the tour at Glasgow SEC Armadillo on Wednesday 30th September 2026, and they then play Wolverhampton Civic Hall (Friday 2nd October) and London Eventim Apollo Hammersmith (Saturday 3rd October) before hitting mainland Europe.
The quintet will perform ‘The Final Countdown’ in its entirety, alongside other tracks from their distinguished career.
The support act at all UK and European dates is Canadian rock n’ rollers The Damn Truth, while GUN also perform at the shows in Glasgow, Wolverhampton and London.
Europe frontman Joey Tempest says: “In a blink of an eye 40 years have passed and we’re about to perform TFC in full for only the second time in our career, together with other hits and our favourite songs from our upcoming album. This will be amazing – we’re working on making the production and show match this very special occasion.”
Tickets will be on sale Friday November 28 at 10am, with presales starting Wednesday 26 at 10am.
