Welsh ragga metal legends Skindred have announced a full UK and Ireland headline tour in support of their brand new album ‘You Got This’.
Already setting the airwaves and dancefloors of the nation alight with current single ‘Can I Get A’ – which premiered on BBC 6Music, and has just been made Track of the Week on Virgin Radio – Skindred will be bringing the party vibes to Nottingham, Birmingham, Dublin, Belfast and Glasgow later this year, with an extra special show on Halloween at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace.
Supporting the band at Alexandra Palace will be nu-metal heroes Alien Ant Farm, along with fellow Californian scenesters Spineshank and Orgy. All three bands will also join Skindred at their Birmingham Academy show on the previous night, with Alien Ant Farm playing additional shows on the tour. Further support acts will be announced for various shows in due course.
Arya Goggins, Skindred’s drummer, says: “We wanted to do something really special to support the release of our new album You Got This. After touring with our friends Alien Ant Farm in Europe last year, we had to bring them to the UK to join the Skindred party! Halloween is always such a special night, for both us and our fans, so this year our annual ‘Night of the Living Dred’ show will be its biggest ever at London’s Alexandra Palace! Along with Alien Ant Farm we have Spineshank and Orgy joining us. It’s going to be a really special night with loads of surprises.”
‘You Got This’ is Skindred’s ninth album and is an all-killer-no-filler set which features everything that people love about the band – hard-hitting slammers, mega addictive hooks, earwormy soundclash elements, and dancehall vibes destined to ignite venues across the globe.
