Multi-platinum alternative metal outfit Primus have confirmed a trio of UK headline shows this August as part of their wider European summer run.
The band will bring their “evening with” format to Manchester Academy on 17 August, Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on 18 August, and London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on 20 August, before closing out the UK leg with a headline appearance at ArcTanGent Festival in Bristol on 21 August.
Described by the band as select, extended headline performances, the shows are expected to deliver a deeper dive into Primus’ catalogue, with longer sets and a more expansive live experience.
The tour will feature bassist and frontman Les Claypool alongside guitarist Larry LaLonde and new drummer John Hoffman, who joined the band following the departure of longtime drummer Tim Alexander in 2024.
