Placebo have unveiled a six-date UK & Ireland arena tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut.
The run forms part of a wider European tour and begins in Nottingham on 28 November 2026, before heading to Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester and London, and wrapping up in Cardiff on 7 December.
Across the shows, Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal will revisit material from both 1996’s ‘Placebo’ and 1998’s ‘Without You I’m Nothing’, reflecting on the band’s formative years and early evolution.
Ahead of the tour, the band will release ‘Placebo RE:CREATED’ on 19 June 2026 via AWAL – a reworked version of their debut album built from the original master recordings.
Molko describes the project as a “director’s cut,” shaped by decades of live performance and studio experience, aiming to bring the original songs up to date sonically while preserving their character. The release acts as both a retrospective and a bridge between the band’s early identity and their present-day sound.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 27 March from Ticketmaster.
