The Darkness have announced a 17-date UK tour for March 2025 in support of their new studio album ‘Dreams on Toast’.
Taylor Swift’s new favourite band will kick off their lengthy jaunt at Ipswich Regent Theatre on Friday 7th March and wrap it up with a huge show at the 12,500-capacity London OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday 29th March.
Special guests on all dates are Northern Irish indie-rock icons Ash, who previously toured with The Darkness on the ‘Permission to Land’ tour in 2004.
Ash’s Tim Wheeler says: “In 2004 we toured the UK’s arenas with The Darkness as ‘Permission to Land’ catapulted them into the big league. Next March, 21 years later, we will reunite to tear across Britain before an epic crescendo at Wembley Arena. We believe in a thing called Rock!”
The run of shows bracket the Friday 28th March release of The Darkness’ eighth studio album ‘Dreams on Toast’, the band’s first record since 2021’s ‘Motorheart’. The band have premiered the albums’ lead single ‘The Longest Kiss’.
The artist presale will go live at 10am on Wednesday 25 September and general sale tickets for all dates will go on sale at 10am on Friday 27 September from Ticketmaster.
