Joe Satriani Announces ‘Earth’ UK Tour Dates 2023

Joe Satriani has once again been forced to reschedule his European and UK tour dates due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Originally scheduled to take place in 2020 the tour had been rescheduled to begin in April 2022. However, with the current COVID restrictions and quarantine mandates not yet standardised throughout the world, it has been decided that the best path forward is to reschedule once again. Joe’s UK concerts will now take place in May 2023.

Satriani is set to release his new album, ‘The Elephants of Mars’, on April 8, 2022 via earMusic. The album features the singles ‘Sahara’ and ‘Faceless’.

His current band features celebrated drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Fogerty) bassist Bryan Beller (Aristocrats) and keyboardist Rai Thistlethwayte (Thirsty Merc) with Joe Satriani on guitar.

For two decades, Satriani has travelled the world, playing to sold-out crowds as both a headliner and as founder of the all-star “G3” guitar extravaganza. Satriani’s studio and live recordings have sold more than 10 million copies worldwide to date and of his many solo albums, two have gone platinum and four others went gold, with 15 Grammy nominations between them. His side project, Chickenfoot, featuring former Van Halen front man Sammy Hagar, former bassist Michael Anthony, and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer Chad Smith saw their debut album certified gold and their second studio album debuted at #9.
