Bloodstock Festival 2022

Bloodstock Festival have announced a further 12 bands to grace the stages at Catton Park in August 2022.

Swedish metal band Avatar have been added to Friday’s Sophie Lancaster stage bill and joining them that day are US metalcore squad Thrown Into Exile. Also appearing will be the hotly-tipped, viscerally-dubbed Pupil Slicer, along with hardcore/crossover thrash newcomers Cage Fight. Sunday’s fun includes the addition of  Nu-metal stalwarts Ill Nino, Manchester hardcore noiseniks Guilt Trip, Hard-hitting rockers Skarlett Riot and progressive groove/sludge merchants Desert Storm.

Over on the Ronnie James Dio main stage, the super-buzzy Des Moines, Iowa upstarts Vended are set to kick off proceedings on Sunday morning. Also added to the main stage weekend line up are epic Swedish doomsters Sorcerer, industrial metalheads Red Method and Danish death metallers, BAEST.

It has been confirmed that Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals will no longer be appearing at Bloodstock 2022 with their hotly received Pantera set, due to the cancellation of their entire European tour.

Bloodstock’s 2022 Ronnie James Dio main stage headliners are Behemoth, Lamb Of God and Mercyful Fate. Also appearing across the weekend are Dimmu Borgir, Testament, Killing Joke, Exodus, Black Dahlia Murder, GWAR, Dark Funeral, Bury Tomorrow, Sacred Reich, Life Of Agony, All Hail The Yeti, Butcher Babies, Vio-lence, Bloodywood, Jinjer, Lorna Shore, Doyle, Lost Society and Spirit World.

On the Sophie Lancaster you can catch Hatebreed, Sleep Token, The Night Flight Orchestra, Static-X, Discharge, Eyehategod, Cattle Decapitation, Nekrogoblikon, Black Tongue, Heart Of A Coward, Heathen, Soen, Party Cannon, Ferocious Dog, Enforced, Belphegor, Heriot, Blood Youth, Orbit Culture, Tallah, Samael, Cyhra, Noctem and Nanowar Of Steel.

Bloodstock will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 11th-14th August 2022.
