Weezer Announce ‘The Gathering’ UK Tour Dates For 2027 with Taking Back Sunday

Weezer have announced a major run of UK arena dates for May 2027 as part of their worldwide The Gathering’ tour, with Taking Back Sunday joining them as special guests.

Weezer will bring ‘The Gathering’ to Europe in May 2027. The UK leg kicks off at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on 14 May, followed by shows in Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, London and Cardiff. The band will also play Dublin’s 3Arena on 12 May ahead of the UK dates. Taking Back Sunday will support across the UK and European shows.

The tour follows the announcement of Weezer’s forthcoming 20th studio album, another self-titled release and the latest addition to the band’s famous series of colour albums. Widely referred to as The Gold Album, ‘Weezer’ is released on 21 August 2026 via Reprise/Warner Records.

Produced by Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume, formerly known as Kenny Beats, the album sees Rivers Cuomo, Brian Bell, Scott Shriner and Patrick Wilson returning to a more direct ‘band in a room’ approach. It includes the singles ‘Shine Again’, ‘We Might As Well Be Strangers’ featuring Wednesday’s Karly Hartzman, and ‘C.E.O.’.

‘The Gathering’ follows Weezer’s recent 30th anniversary celebrations for their landmark 1994 debut ‘The Blue Album’, with the new tour set to bring together material spanning more than three decades alongside songs from the forthcoming record.

Tickets for Weezer’s UK dates go on general sale at 10am BST on Friday 14 August 2026.
