Canadian rockers Sum 41 have announced a UK tour this summer to promote their seventh studio album, ‘Order In Decline’, which will be released on 19th July.
The long-running Canadian five-piece Sum 41 are gearing up to release their seventh studio album ‘Order in Decline’, their first LP since 2016’s ’13 Voices’. The band have promised their “heaviest and most aggressive album to date, while also being their most dynamic and raw”.
Frontman Deryck Whibley spoke about the lyrical content of the new album last week, which he says will reflect his view on the current state of the world – although not in a strictly political sense.
“The last thing I wanted to do was write a social or political protest record, and ‘Order In Decline’ is not that,” Whibley said. “It’s also very hard not to have feelings about everything that’s going on in the world.”
