Bon Jovi

As part of a wider European tour, Bon Jovi will head out across the UK in the summer of 2019 with the Manic Street Preachers in support.

Bon Jovi have announced a European tour in May, June and July 2019, with their ‘This House Is Not For Sale’ run of shows taking in a total of 18 cities – getting under way in Russia before the hitting mainland Europe and three dates in the UK.

Jon Bon Jovi says he can’t wait to return to the country: “Those huge shows, tens of thousands of people all together as one, that’s what we do – and we’ve got a few things to put right by playing Wembley Stadium. We were so excited to be the first band to play that new stadium, I would have helped build it myself to make it happen. So we have a new history to write there. We’ve had some great nights at the Ricoh too. Throw in Anfield as a new venue – OK that’s just us showing off! We’re honoured to play there and the first thing I’m doing is getting that iconic picture under the ‘This Is Anfield’ sign.”

The iconic American rock band achieved widespread fame in 1986 when third album ‘Slippery When Wet’ was released. The album features No.1 singles ‘You Give Love a Bad Name’ and ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’. Since forming 35 years ago the band have put out 13 studio albums and, having sold over 100 million record worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling American rock bands of all time.

The band reunited early this year for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. and will tour across Japan and Australia throughout the remainder of 2018. The band last performed in the UK as part of the 2010 Circle Tour.
