Queens of the Stone Age will be returning to the UK and Ireland for four headline shows in November.
The Queens Of The Stone Age UK tour dates come in support of new album ‘Villains’, due for release on the 25 August 2017 through Matador Records.
“The title Villains isn’t a political statement. It has nothing to do with Trump,” says vocalist and guitarist Joshua Homme. “It’s simply 1) a word that looks fantastic and 2) a comment on the three versions of every scenario: yours, mine and what actually happened… Everyone needs someone or something to rail against-their villain-same as it ever was. You can’t control that. The only thing you can really control is when you let go.”
The record is their first since 2013’s ‘Like Clockwork’. The band have now unveiled new track, ‘The Way You Used To Do’.
News of the record, produced by Mark Ronson and co-produced by Mark Rankin, comes alongside confirmation of UK and Ireland headline shows.
